As the sandbox isn’t hooked up to live banks there are a number of test platforms that can be used to simulate the result of a payment journey by a merchant’s customer. As these are test platforms they can be subject to intermittent outages, so if something you expect to work goes wrong please either wait and try again later or let us know so that we can investigate.
Mock Redirect Bank #
This is a simple bank journey that doesn’t provide any interface for the customer and so is only suitable for completing payments and standing orders. It will immediately return from the payment routine and sets the transaction as an immediate success:
Lloyds Bank #
The Lloyds Bank test bank is useful when you expect to be able to retrieve a bank account, e.g. when configuring the system to accept standing orders into “your” account. Note that at no point will a standing order ever actually complete a transaction, as there is no real bank behind the scenes to transact with.
